About Firefall Credits
Made by Red 5 Studios, Firefall is a sci-fi free to play MMO open world shooter. It was officially announced on 8 Sep 2010 at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, and released on 29 Jul 2014. It entered closed beta in 2011 and open beta in 2013. Being the first game developed by Red 5 Studios, it is a combination of the role-playing aspects from the MMO genre and some elements from the shooter genre.
Crystite
The most basic currency in the game Firefall is Crystite. PLayers can get Crystite in some quantity by participating in almost any activity that you can. It will be required in most purchases that a player makes that is directly tied to his/her progression. Crystite can be used primarily in repairing any broken battleframe gear, crafting items, and researching recipes for crafting items.
Red Beans
The “real money” currency in Firefall is Red Beans. They have a wide range of functions anc can be bought off of the games website. Reusable vehicles, boosts, comsmetic items – all these and more can be bought with Red Beans in The Read Beans Store, which has a variety of things for sell. Access to some bonuses such as a special glider pad, extra crafting slots, and boosts can also be had by using Red Beans to buy VIP status. With costs depending on the length of job, any researching, refining or crafting job started in molecular printer can also be instantly finished by paying with Red Beans.
Credits
The currency of “luxuries” is Credits. Player to player transactions in the markeplace uses Credits as the currency. Some convenience functions can also be had with Credits such as unslotting modules from an item without destroying them, self-reviving when a player gets downed, or fast traveling to any town a player have visited within the current zone. Selling Crystite to the Accord can gain Credits; players can use 25 Crystite to buy 1 Credit, with a maximum of 1,000 Credits per day which resets at midnight GMT.
Players can also get Red Beans through the Credit Exchange without paying real money, thus making it as an important currency when it comes to functionality and practicality. Players can either sell their own Red Beans to get Credits above the daily conversion maximum, or buy Red Beans from other players using Credits in the Credit Exchange.
