Player Auctions offers players of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games a central platform to deal, advertise and exchange programmed resource such as in-game currency, items, accounts and power leveling services.

It was constituted in November 1999 as a bartering platform for MMORPG players to actively engage in digital resource dealings, the procuring and contracting of in-games assets such as virtual currencies.

In July 2007, Player Auctions was taken over by Koren digital asset exchange giant Ittemania. The site facilitates visitors with coupon updates, a large selection of over 100 game currencies, full equipment sets and gold trading facilities. On the social front, Player Auction features a members area and accounts for facebook, twitter as well as google plus.

Product. Operating since 1999, PlayerAuctions.com operates a little bit differently from other real-money trading websites, facilitating as a marketplace connecting player buyers to player sellers. I was a big seller on that site for years, but then near 3 years ago they changed policy and now they not allow users from Ukraine to sell or buy. Support says its because of some "government regulations" but do not want to specify. I have a law degree and ability to find any legal information in any country, and appears they lied about it. Looks like Playerauctions just do not like Ukrainians in general, this is the only explanation everyone can conclude. Too bad, because this is not acceptable for any big company to threat any nation like that. Until Playerauctions do not change this policy i will publish this feedback everywhere, to let people aware of this gross injustice. Ticket was 391627

They endorse scammers! They try so hard to mask this fact. But make sure to check all the 1 star reviews! They tell everything you need to know.

I even made a 20 minute video explaining my whole experience and I still have not received anything in return. Not the account, nor a refund

Regrettably, my experience on this platform turned sour due to what appears to be a scam. The dispute resolution favored the seller despite clear evidence indicating otherwise. Didn't buy or sell a single thing, all accounts suspended. Customer service stingy

I needed to create or change a username because I have a good selling record on websites such as eBay and EpicNPC. I want my name "sachhoc12" to be famous and positive. I didn't know that multiple accounts got all of them unsuspended, even if you deleted the previous. They refuse to change my username from my old to sachhoc12 even though I haven't bought or sold a single thing, so nobody in the world cares about my account's username and it wouldn't change anything. They seem extremely close-minded, following based on a robot-like protocol for customer service, not changing their opinion no matter how trustworthy or scammy the person sending a ticket is.

Messaged a seller about an item listed on PA, seller sent me back a message and included his Discord name telling me to contact him on discord, never did as it was against the rules. Well cause he pm'ed me his discord name PlayerAuction banned my account and tried exploiting me to pay $150 dollars to get my account unbanned on their site after contacting support. Needless I messaged back and told them to KMA!

They Blocked every way that i could pay. then i sent them an email about it they told me verify it i sent everything even a photo of my credit card and transactions after all that they told they recommended the i pay with Go Coin which is bitcoin which is expansive until their risk management team replay to me which didn't happen yet.

Also they will charge u an amount to see if its really and then ask you to put that amount on confirmation box to confirm it so its already confirmed.

Also i read a lot of reviews about the sites many faced the same issue so i think they forcing some to go with Go Coin (bitcoin)

I put up an offer to sell an account.
I received several offers until one offered to auto-win price.
I received an email from their website telling me to get in touch with the winner and provide the required details.
The email appeared legit, had plenty of info on it you cannot get except for myself and PA, and there is no way to confirm it right away with the website.
So I sent the info back to the email provided, but little did I know it was sent by a scammer. I got the account back, but lost all the valuables on the account.

So either an employee at the site is using the company's email to scam its users, or this scammer is not at PA but somehow able to emulate their email address and scam people.

I contacted support. Of course they don't want to/can't help fix this, and even when I offered them the details as to who scammed so they can ban them and do something, they remained silent and obviously don't care.
PA might be scamming its own users, which is incredibly dumb but wouldn't be surprising. In all cases, PA doesn't give a $#*!. PA likes to keep obvious scammers around their site despite proof.

Not worth the risk folks. Avoid.

This is my experience getting stolen from by PlayerAuctions. I bought 3,000 dollars worth of gold here and after I got bored of the game I was playing, I quit and went to resell the gold for 1,200 dollars and within one hour I get scammed for 200 dollars. Apparently what happens here is the big time sellers will look for new sellers, buy a huge amount from them and never confirm delivery and then dispute it and win. They win because the new seller doesn't know he has to document the trade very well and the buyer doesn't have to do anything. If you want to sell quickly and do a good price, the big sellers will go after you and steal all your money. I had to fight for a week while the guy called me a liar and the site that has no phone number, no live chat, no real people to talk to and is hidden in China told me they had to give it to the thief even though I provided proof in more than one form. Basically you will get out gamed and left with nothing and not even your bank can help you. Trust me, I have a family member that is a banker, you will be out your money and have wasted a lot time and be in for an emotional ride when you start getting called a liar by the scammer who scoped you out.

I advertised a Black Desert account on their website and signed up for the automatic delivery. Someone purchased the account and within 2 minutes all of the account details were in their possession. Another 2 minutes pass and Playerauctions notifies me that my Playerauctions account has been suspended and a refund will not be issued to the buyer. So I lost my Black Desert account and Playerauctions gets to keep the money. How convenient for them!

Playerauctions used to be great. Fast ordering and almost instant delivery.

Recently they have made changes and seem to be demanding personal information tbefore they will let a transaction go through. This happened to me and from looking around, is happening more and more often.

I made a purchase for less than $50 and paid via PayPal as I’ve done on their site often in the past 6 years with no problems. Playerauctions held the transaction (PayPal had authorised it right away) and demanded that I complete a form giving them my full card details, name and address and electronically sign a declaration giving them permission to debit my card as they wish and saying that I will not dispute any debits.

The point of using PayPal is that it keeps your details private and nobody should be giving card details and open authorisation to take any payments they like with a promise not to object.

They would not release the order for fulfilment until I filled in the form, despite many messages back and forth.

In the end, I cancelled the order.

It’s good when it works but they’re exploiting buyers to gather personal information - expect to give them a copy of your passport and your full personal information if you want to shop with them.

Just got an email that I lost the dispute. As always the scammer won. I should've look at the review before I buy runescape account. In the dispute the scammer wrote three sentences that I resold the account without proof and he won. While I provide strong points and screenshots.I am really angry I was their customer back in 2014 while this scammer created his account on 2016. To all the new buyer, DO NOT BUY INSURANCE IT DOESN'T HELP. I bought one for $30 and I still lost the dispute. Like hell does it even do. Right now I can say playerauction is a farm fest for runescape seller if you know what I mean.

Brought a wow account and paid extra for buyer protection 2 days later the account was reclaimed ,i got in touch with blizzard who sent me an email saying the account had been reclaimed . I forwarded this to player auctions thinking that was pretty much me covered but no i just kept getting emails asking me to prove the account had been reclaimed .

seems like a pretty good website with a few small glitches. I currently cannot pay for an account because something is not going through, I've never had a problem with paypal before. Stay away from this site at any cost if you are a seller!
When you sell your item on this site the money from the buyer goes to the site as middleman, and you will receive your disbursement after 2-5 days only if you have no pending disputes in your account, for example what happened in my case, i had over 10 successful orders and i was waiting for the disbursement day, meanwhile a buyer who had paid extra 100% of price as +1 year insurance for a lol pbe account and buyer came after 9 months back to me because riot disabled his account, so he asked for refund or replacement something that is crazy to ask comparing the price i sold it then and the price i sell it now, so well the buyer disputed after 9 months of purchase, and playerauctions are holding over 10 disbursements of my succesful orders which in total are over 100$ and the order that buyer disputed is only 6,5$, i waited 2 days expecting that playerauctions will reduce this amount from my pending disbursement but they didn't so i sent them back the required amount on their paypal account [email protected] and i sent them the transaction id in support ticket expecting them to send me my disbursements, after 4 days they responded me with a message telling me that i have to pay the exact amount on paypal but on their other account [email protected] in order to refund the buyer, while they have not refunded the first transaction on paypal which i sent them the required amount..

So in conclusion i have sold 14 accounts and they are holding my disbursements for all of them (over 100$) while i have already refunded the amount(6.5$) for the issued order.

Also it's crazy to see their supports response time taking over 3-4 days while their fees are totally scam as you can see

CSGO Skins: 4.99%

Disbursement Fees
PayPal also adds a 2% fee on disbursements.
Skrill = 2% + $0.50 per disbursement.

which results from 12$ sale you end up taking 8$ disbursement
which is 4$ fees for just by doing nothing, all this money from fees and they don't have a freaking legit system in case of refunds to finish misconceptions easily, even response times for support tickets are unacceptably slow for the amount of profit they receive.!
So if you are a seller AVOID this SCAM "marketplace" at any cost!

I've been waiting for almost 2 months to get my disbursements from 4 accounts i sold and they are saying that 2 buyers have disputed my orders while there is no proof of that, so playerauctions is holding the money even from legit successful orders, the funny thing is that buyers pay an extra 100% of price for insurance, and still playerauctions is holding my money, the funny thing is that they have disabled support live chat, deleted 3 of my support tickets that was about this issue, so i created a new support ticket and they are still refusing to help me by asking useless information that they can find in 10 seconds, even after you send them the information they asking for they will never respond, i even sent message to the supposed unhappy buyers and they are inactive since long time ago, so its obvious playerauctions are scammers that are creating imaginary order issues so we get bored and give up so they can keep the disbursements...

Wanted to use a card but they demanded a verification charge, which ran into problems with my issuer and their online account services and how they handle auth charges. One thing to know is, this website is middleman service to purchase/sell accounts, gold, items and etc. Some sellers have different times to deliver their product. This company does everything it can to trick you into sending all money to China via Western Union. The company's claim that it is located in California, but that is a lie because this is a Chinese owned company. My objective was to purchase a game account on this site. After entering in my card information on the site, I was then told that the purchase was in the verifying stage and that this usually takes a few minutes. About an hour later, I check back and it is still verifying. I check my messages and there is nothing new and I even contact the seller for advice. I go to my email by chance and find a docusign form that PlayerAuctions wanted me to fill out. This was very suspicious and the site made no effort to inform me that I would receive this form. Now this form is where things go wrong. PlayerAuctions wants a picture of your Driver's License and a picture of you holding the license. If you do not provide this then you send the money to them via Western Union. Long story short, I cancelled the order after several hours of the purchase as they wanted a more clear picture and I wasn't willing to do that. Such a creepy scam. YUCK!

The customer service keeps saying that it will take five days to get a response from another department which is bull sh*t. All they do is just keep putting the blame on someone else rather than work to fix the problem. I can never seem to get an accurate number to reach someone and no body responds to the emails. I've had an account with this site since 2013 never tried to purchase anything until this last week. After browsing the store I found the item I wanted and attempted to purchase it. I was then denied purchasing the item until my email was verified so I had it send the email verification. This is where the problems began as I never received email verification. After no response from them within 48 hours I proceeded to make a new account with my work email. The email verification immediately showed up and I went along making my purchase. While I was waiting for my purchase I got an email stating my new account was in direct violation of their site rules and was being banned. They said no..my next transaction was very smooth as they promised..done in minutes third one : boom ...verfication again! the funny think about their complaince team and trust team that they answer you apon asking like robots! "Sorry sir we can not give you further info" . That was the answer when I asked : why again since my last transaction was 2 days ago with same payoal account...anyway; I passed another painfull hours (sometimes they take hours to response and sometimes they are very fast...no system) my 4th order was perfect ...at my 6th order I faced their ugly face:

I wanted to buy one good lvl 11 max village under their environment...actually majority of seller there are nice vitnames...I choose one village and payed by paypal (like many of you I have MC linked with paypal account) paypal is very easy and handy specially for people out usa like me (I am forign living in saudi arabia)...at this point they sent me ema ask my to fill some form and attach half dozen of documents (even my paypal autherized the transaction allready) and when I asked why all that they saud they want to know I am owner of that paypal account...I give thim everything they asked and after painfull hours they processed my order ....I asked them do I have to go under same verification next time? They said no..my next transaction was very smooth as they promised..done in minutes third one : boom ...verfication again! the funny think about their complaince team and trust team that they answer you apon asking like robots! "Sorry sir we can not give you further info" . That was the answer when I asked : why again since my last transaction was 2 days ago with same payoal account...anyway; I passed another painfull hours (sometimes they take hours to response and sometimes they are very fast...no system) my 4th order was perfect ...at my 6th order I faced their ugly face:
My order was rejected....It was discounted nice village which I wanted badly...when I asked them why their human robots answers: you can not use your paypal any more...send us bank transfer to usa...why? No answer...I contacted their live chat..he said sorry sir I can not tel you why!...I paid again with my mastercard through skrill....rejected again...after many requst and ignore game one of their team told me ....sir: we have monthly limits to paypal orders which you passed..come again after 10 days..!!!!! ( beleive me I have all mails) after thay I spent hours chatting with them and sending emails...is not my payoal fullfill my order and feed backs are perfecr? They said yes...but you can not order this among of orders by paypal (we are speaking about 6 orders with in 4 months....lol) I told him is that problem that goid customer give you more money...so We entered robot games again....I told them : consider me a trader ..rise my monthly limits sincr I pay.. robots refused again....It was bad experience..If you think I over it then I have all communication emails.I can provide them. Advice: these people not respecting the people....dont stuck with them

I've been using the PA site for around 6 months now, many sales, 100% reputation, no issues, satisfied customers They always pay for my sold accounts on time, even called me on my mobile phone when I had an issue with registering on the site back at day one. Scams are pretty much impossible on this site, people will of course try, but if you are honest and have proof of the scam,the site will look into it and resolve your issues. Recently I sold my account for $600 USD and the delivery to the buying was confirmed it was working. However shortly after use, the account got banned. He became ignorant and attempted to get a refund back saying it was my fault. They have not paid me in over three months and refuse to answer any of my emails. So recently i got scammed for over $80 USD on a couple of league of legends accounts. The customer service keeps saying that it will take five days to get a response from another department which is bull sh*t. This company does everything it can to trick you into sending all money to China via Western Union. The company's claim that it is located in California, but that is a lie because this is a Chinese owned company. My objective was to purchase a game account on this site. After entering in my card information on the site, I was then told that the purchase was in the verifying stage and that this usually takes a few minutes. About an hour later, I check back and it is still verifying. I check my messages and there is nothing new and I even contact the seller for advice. I go to my email by chance and find a docusign form that PlayerAuctions wanted me to fill out. This was very suspicious and the site made no effort to inform me that I would receive this form. Now this form is where things go wrong. PlayerAuctions wants a picture of your Driver's License and a picture of you holding the license. If you do not provide this then you send the money to them via Western Union. Long story short, I cancelled the order after several hours of the purchase as they wanted a more clear picture and I wasn't willing to do that. Such a creepy scam. YUCK!
